How the Match Score works
The MaalyPlus Match Score is a deterministic 0–100 ranking of suitable products for one confirmed profile and need. The same inputs and the same product versions always produce the same scores and the same order. It is not a credit score, an approval probability, or a statement that a product is best for everyone.
Qualification fit
30%How the product's published criteria match your stated profile: fully met criteria score 100; products awaiting an institution verification (such as salary transfer confirmation) score 75. Products that fail a published criterion are excluded from ranking entirely.
Affordability fit
25%How comfortably the estimated payment sits inside your limit — the lower of your preferred payment and the product's debt-burden ceiling. Payments at or below 80% of the limit score 100, declining linearly beyond that.
Cost fit
20%Estimated total cost normalized within the compared candidate set (for deposits: published return; for cards: mandatory annual fee). A product whose cost cannot be compared scores 0 for this component with a visible warning — its weight is never redistributed.
Preference fit
15%The weighted share of your explicit preferences the product meets (preferred institution, no salary transfer, Sharia compliance). If you state no preferences, every product receives a neutral 50.
Data confidence
10%How recently the product's facts were verified against a stored source: within 30 days scores 100, declining to 30 beyond 90 days with a visible warning. Missing source evidence caps this at 40.
Ties and integrity
When two products receive the same integer score, the order is decided deterministically: fully qualified products first, then lower comparable total cost, then more recently verified data, then a stable product identifier — never randomness.
Commission, sponsorship, and partner payments can never enter any score component: the scoring configuration schema rejects any such input by construction, and every scoring model change is versioned and reviewed against regression fixtures before publication.
Results are indicative comparisons of published criteria and stated assumptions — the institution always makes the final decision.
